Our History: Established in 1916 near the banks of the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon, our Portland OR funeral Home, Riverview Abbey was initially inspired by Westminster Abbey in London, England. Originally, Riverview Abbey was a Mausoleum site only, but in the 1970's the Griffith Family decided to add an on-site funeral home to serve the community.

Four generations of the Griffith Family have owned and operated Riverview Abbey, and today they are proud to continue their legacy of service.
