A Helpful Experience

I have never had to plan a funneral, even though I am 82 years old. Soon after we phoned Ryan Helfenbein of Lasting Tributes, he came to collect the body of my husband for cremation. The next morning our meeting was very helpful. He told us what we needed to do and what choices we had. He helped us get the Death Notice into the Washington Post, got the death certifcates for us, etc. etc. The DVD they made from photos we provided was suburb. All in all we recomend them highly.
A Gift to our Children

My wife and I met with Ryan Helfenbein to explore the possibility of pre-paying for our funeral expenses which would be a gift to our children. He not only explained the process in a professional manner with a GREAT sense of humor I may add. We immediately felt very comfortable with Ryan handeling our final arrangements and decided to pre-pay for our funeral expenses with Lasting Tributes with Ryan at the helm. I feel as though we have had a burden lifted off our shoulders and our children will not have to be concerned that our final wishes are carried out. Thank you Ryan and your staff for making this all possible for Kathy and I.

I first met Ryan Helfenbein in Dec of 2010 when he cremated our dog. He was not only professional but very caring. Little did I know that I would have to meet with him again,1 week later, when we had arrange services for my brother and my 6 yr old nephew who both died suddenly & tragically. I can not express my gratitude or appreciation for EVERYTHING that Ryan has done. He helped to make an unimaginable situation bearable for our entire family. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Lasting Tributes with a 20+. Even after the services are over, they continue to call and check on us.
